Lots of fantastic beers on tap. Burgers were excellent. We didn’t order dessert, but the options looked great. Service was absolutely outstanding. The staff here is a well oiled machine, and the wait staff/management really knows how to treat their customers. Our server never missed the mark. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and very respectful. I will absolutely be returning in the future!

Start with the obvious: parking downtown sucks! I found a meter that actually takes coins (and cards) a block or so away. Once past that hurdle, it's a cool place. Music is in the background where it belongs. Seating inside & out. Kiera was the friendliest server I've ever met. Knowledgeable and accommodating, too. The Gorgonzilla burger - with tomato, mixed greens, gorgonzola cheese & house-made slaw - was terrific tasty (I had the slaw on the side) but needed to be warmer and came with a huge pile of house-made kettle chips (a touch greasy). Substitute fries, etc for an upcharge. The slaw alone is worth the trip in. Had I known how good it was, I would've gotten the $7 side for 2 people and been extremely happy. Had a flight of four brews to round out my relaxed lunch, as well. You want beer reviews, get Untappd. Burger & chips ran $17. The beer runs $2.50-4 per 4 ounce pour so my lunch ran me $30 with tax. The burgers are a bit pricy for the size, $11-13 seems more reasonable.

Very L.O.U.D. It was better once people began to leave. We were a larger party so it was difficult to hear the conversation at the table. Beers were OK and food was decent. The cornbread was gross and quickly became the joke of the evening. No one in our party of 10 had ever had cold, pasty, cornbread that looked like cheesecake. Super disappointed as my wife and I enjoy cornbread. The broccoli salad was very dry and not appetizing. The smashburger was good and the waffle fries were crispy. The smoked wings were passed around the table and were less than impressive. Not sure if it's because it was later in the evening or if that's just how they are. I did like the ability to order and pay from my phone. Made it so easy and you never have to wait for your server to come back to order another drink or additional food. I actually cashed out once and was able to start another order. I was glad we tried the place, but won't return.

The Landing Beer Company is a sweet little spot in downtown Fort Wayne that is appealing in a lot of ways. It's location, ambiance, and kind wait staff make for a very inviting atmosphere to sit down and enjoy a meal. Our server Xaiven did an excellent job walking us through the menu and explained a variety of their menu items. For lunch we split a 3 meat barbecue meal and chose waffle fries and broccoli salad as the sides per recommendation from Xaiven. We were informed that the barbecue is going to be removed from the menu and it was recommended that we try it while we still had the opportunity. Apparently removing the barbecue would allow the restaurant to focus on the production and service of quality pub style burgers. We were also informed the waffle fries were being removed to be replaced by something else. Only time will tell what that will be. The sides were both well seasoned and the broccoli salad was dressed with just the right amount of creaminess. The chicken wings were hot, crispy, juicy, and delicious. I would definitely rate them as my favorite part of the whole meal and i believe they should be kept on the menu. As for the rest of the barbecue, I don't think it will be missed. The brisket was overcooked, dry, and inedible. The only moisture came from the fat cap whereas the rest of the muscle protein was as dry as leather. The turkey resembled a lot of the same qualities and neither proteins were served hot, just lukewarm. Even with the accompaniment of the landing beer companies signature sauces, I still couldn't manage to eat even half of a slice of either meat. We notified our server who then offered us two portions of pulled pork as a substitute and a complimentary extra side of fries while we waited. The pulled pork came out and at first glance I had high hopes. The bottom of the bowl was filled with the pork jus and steam was visibly rolling off the top of the meat. However, with my first bite I could tell that the pulled pork had been overcooked also. Even though the pork had been drowned in its own juices, the protein itself was still tougher, slightly chewy, and ironically enough.... dry. I buried the pork in a combination of the signature sauces and managed to finish the bowl, but it is not a menu item I'd recommend or order again. Based on my first experience at the Landing Beer Company, I probably won't be returning to dine again. The removal of wings and waffle fries leave me no desire to actually return. If their burgers are anything like the barbecue, they'll prolly be overcooked and dry. I'm not going to spend anymore trying to find out.

Fantastic place to eat! Impeccable service, unique burgers. Fair warning though: the appetizers are hefty and the burgers are gigantic! You'll get full quickly.
