Great experience! Chill atmosphere and a slight smoky smell from their outdoor smoker. Very welcoming. The staff cares and fills in for each when needed. I had the vegan mushroom melt and it was the best sandwich I've had in awhile. Vegan comfort food ❣️ My beer was great and husband had bottled root beer, burger and fries. The fries are excellent and I think they make their own ketchup which was fun and different. Daughter had the vegan chilled noodle bowl. It was huge and filled with yummy fresh things I also love that there were sides other than fries. I got the kimchi rice and I could eat that every day!

Great beer, awesome food, and even better vibes! I also got the poutine, which I loved! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the gravy was well balanced (maybe a tinge salty). I loved the self-service outdoor seating! So nice to watch the ducks in the river while enjoying a good beer.

Excellent food and service! The smoked wings are delicious and we had the lemongrass chicken sandwich which is amazing. Love the spicy ketchup for the handcut shoestring fries. Great beer selections.

Crooked Ewe is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bend area. They have a super unique menu and lots of interesting beer choices as well. Everything is super filling and delicious. The patatas bravas as a starter were a hit and I loved my brisket melt. If only you’re in the area for a weekend, this is one of the places you should circle on your South Bend dining list.

We’ve gone to Crooked Ewe in the past and have had great experiences, but this place has drastically gone downhill. It started off with a hostess that seemed pretty disinterested in her job and couldn’t give us a proper wait time. A lot of blame was placed on being graduation weekend for many of the local colleges, but the restaurant really wasn’t that busy and the staff would’ve had ample time to prepare for this weekend. Once seated, I ordered the ribeye and it was one of the most disappointing steaks I’ve ever seen. Completely overcooked and unseared. I really hope Crooked Ewe can get back to what they’ve been in the past.
